Simple, smart, safe: Motorola strengthens product ecosystem with release of moto tag
Having cemented its position as a leading smartphone provider in market, mobile communications leader Motorola, has expanded its product offering in Australia with the release of its newest accessory, the moto tag.
The moto tag enables users to trace their valuables on any Android smartphone that comes with Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) technology and supports Android 9.0 and up. Along with BLE, the moto tag uses Google’s Find My Device network to provide real-time, pinpoint accuracy to locate the missing device anywhere around the world1.
The release of the moto tag bolsters Motorola’s existing ecosystem, introducing tracking capabilities to its already extensive offering. It follows the launch and positive reception of its first two earbud offerings released earlier this year, the moto buds and moto buds+ featuring Sound by Bose.

Motorola understands that nothing is more important than safety and privacy, users can get peace of mind knowing that the moto tag is protected by end-to-end encryption on Google’s trusted network meaning all tracking is private. For an added layer of protection users can run a manual scan to search for trackers near to them which can detect unwanted tracking and ensure the user is in control.
The moto tag is designed to give users up to one year battery life2 and uses a universal, replaceable battery when the time comes to replace it. The device is also IP67-rated for protection from dust, dirt and splashes3.

The moto tags are available exclusively at Harvey Norman in Jade Green and Starlight Blue colours. The moto tags are available to purchase in a single pack (RRP $55) and a 4-pack (RRP $179).
