Pikachu!!!

If you’re a Nintendo Switch owner and looking for additional storage for your console then look no further because Sandisk have something special for you… especially if you’re a Pokémon fan!

Cue in the Sandisk microSDXC Card for Nintendo Switch that offers a whopping 256GB of storage plus it features the world’s most famous Pokémon… Pikachu himself on the front of the card.

The card also boasts speeds of 100MB/s (Read) and 90MB/s (Write) for fast gaming and given that the average Nintendo game is 10GB, you could potentially store up to 25 games on this card. The latest Mario Party Jamboree game is 6GB, whereas Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is 18.2GB. So as you can see, plenty of storage for all your Switch gaming needs.

We also tested the card with CrystalDiskBenchMark and the speeds mirrored the advertised speeds of Sandisk with 102MB/s (read) and 94MB/s (write).

To use this card on your Nintendo Switch, you simply flip the console over, flip up the cover and insert the microSD card and presto, the physical installation is completed. Although the card does not need to be formatted, Nintendo do recommend that you use the formatter via the console settings to get the best performance out of the card.

That’s pretty much it! An awesomely branded microSD Card for your Nintendo Switch!
