Alan Wake 2 Physical Deluxe Edition and The Lake House Expansion Out Now!

Remedy Entertainment and Epic Games are thrilled to announce the release of The Lake House, the second expansion for Alan Wake 2, available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store.

Today also marks the launch of the Physical Deluxe Edition of Alan Wake 2, available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. This edition features a reversible cover sleeve with exclusive artwork and includes a digital download code for Alan Wake Remastered, the classic Alan Wake outfit, and an expansion pass granting access to both the Night Springs and The Lake House expansions.

With the release of The Lake House, all owners of Alan Wake 2 will receive the free Anniversary Update, packed with quality-of-life improvements and new Gameplay Assist options that allow players to tailor the experience to their liking. These options include features like auto-completing quick-time events, one-shot kills, infinite ammo, and infinite flashlight batteries.

In addition to these enhancements, PlayStation and PC players can enjoy new features for the DualSense controller, such as gyro aiming (motion controls). The update also allows players to adjust horizontal and vertical sensitivity, customize gyro space, and select their preferred pitch, yaw, and roll directions.

Furthermore, with this update Alan Wake 2 now supports PlayStation 5 Pro with improved Performance and Quality Modes. Both modes benefit from improved graphics and image quality with the Quality Mode getting ray tracing as a brand-new feature.

In The Lake House, players will uncover the secrets of a mysterious Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) facility on the shores of Cauldron Lake, where a catastrophic event has torn the veil between our reality and the Dark Place. As FBC Agent Kiran Estevez (played by Janina Gavankar), you’ll explore the twisted depths of the Lake House, a place where paranatural research has gone horribly wrong.
