World of Warcraft: The War Within Now Available Worldwide!

The fight to save the Worldsoul of Azeroth from the ominous forces of the Void begins now as World of Warcraft: The War Within has officially launched worldwide!

The champions of Azeroth must assemble their warbands to journey deep within to the heart of the world on their way to the new player cap of level 80. As the first part of the new multi-expansion story arc, the Worldsoul Saga, players can look forward to:

  • New Continent: Khaz Algar
    • Off the western shores of Pandaria lies the island of Khaz Algar, on which the surface-level city of Dornogal will serve as a new main city hub. Begin to explore what dwells beneath the surface in the lava-fuelled forge of The Ringing Deeps, the lush Hallowfall, and the pinnacle of Nerubian society, Azj-Kahet.
  • New Class Feature: Hero Talents
    • A new level of class specialisation customisation, Hero Talents are modelled after well-known archetypes from the Warcraft universe, including Dark Ranger, Farseer, and more.
  • New World Content Feature: Delves
    • New bite-size adventures seamlessly integrated into the world, which flexibly scale to support 1-5 players, and offer meaningful progression (with a new rewards’ track in the Great Vault).
  • New Feature: Warbands
    • Players will see account-wide changes that will transform character management to include a warband bank, an increased number of achievements and reputations that are now account-wide, a new campfire character select screen and more!
  • Expanded Feature: Skyriding
    • Introduced as dragonriding in Dragonflight, skyriding expands the number of mounts that can be used with this system with more on the way as the expansion progresses
    • The previous flight system is now referred to as steady flight.
