Experience Wonder At The Nintendo Booth At PAX Australia
With one week to go until PAX Australia returns to Melbourne, all types of gamers will have something to look forward to at the Nintendo stand from Friday to Sunday. For the first time in Australia, players will get to experience Super Mario Bros. Wonder ahead of release, alongside Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask, Detective Pikachu Returns and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on Nintendo Switch.

On Sunday, 8th October, the live Grand Final for the Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe AU/NZ Championships will take place at the PAX Arena, with the winning Splatoon 3 team and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe racer walking away with the title of Australian and New Zealand Champions. Get revved up for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe AU/NZ Championship live final at 2:30pm, where the top 12 racers from across Australia and New Zealand will compete in 150cc mode to see who will be crowned champion! Then, from 4:30pm, the hunt for the best cephalopod squad operating in the region begins with the Splatoon 3 AU/NZ Championship live final, where Greasy Goblins will be splatting it out against Solstice for the title of AU/NZ champions. Furthermore, the winning Splatoon 3 team and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe racer from the grand final event will head to Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo to represent Australia and New Zealand at the World Championships, competing against the best players from around the world. The Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe AU/NZ Championships will be streamed live at https://www.twitch.tv/nintendoaunz from 2:30pm on Sunday, 8th October.
For visitors to the Nintendo Stand, there will be a My Nintendo Store to browse and purchase a wide variety of different merchandise, accessories, consoles and games, including the newly-released Nintendo Switch – OLED Model Mario Red Edition and Detective Pikachu Returns! My Nintendo members can also check in for a Super Mario Bros. 8-Bit Mario pin* at the My Nintendo Check-in booth, while the general public can earn an exclusive Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero pin set* and Detective Pikachu Returns visor at the Nintendo stand. For attendees looking to capture memorable snaps, a variety of photo opportunities will be available around the PAX Australia show floor and foyer. Eagle-eyed fans may even be able to grab a photo with Mario and Luigi as they visit the stand throughout the day.
