Summary: Seems to be a bit too smart for its own good setting up the story. Feels like you need to know things ahead of time to work out what is going on. Maybe wait for a few of these to come out and read them all at once.

Hmmmm...

When a crew of mercenaries bust an evil-dimension Reed Richards from his multi-dimensional prison, the Illuminati have to work out what he is up to as he has stolen a lot of important artifacts as he wants people to know what he is doing.

They do cram a lot of things into this one and a lot of it went over my head as I am not familiar with some of these characters. Even though this is meant to be the first issue of this series it does seem like you need to have what led up to these events but it not really explained as much here.

I am sure this series is eventually going to grow and develop but at the moment it is a bit too confusing for me. If you like the Fantastic Four and Black Panther I would recommend it and they also have different versions of the other Avengers in it too.

Worth a look if you want to start at the beginning of a new storyline and are prepared to commit to it.
