Hisense Australia announces most expansive TV range ever
Hisense Australia, a global leader in consumer electronics and home entertainment, has announced its latest 2022 television range.
Building on a successful global reveal at CES earlier this year, the new offering promises to thrill consumers with bigger screens, leading innovation, competitive pricing, and a variety of options within the range to suit every household.
Available through all major retailers across the country from the end of June, the brand’s most expansive range ever will boast an impressive selection of ULED, Mini-LED, OLED and Laser TV models – ranging from 55-inch all the way up to a whopping 98-inch screen within the ULED range, and on to 120-inches in the Laser TV category.
Head of Marketing, Hisense Australia, Nick Peters said: “In 2022, the viewing habits of Australians have evolved once again. We have seen greater demand for bigger screens, immersive, all-encompassing viewing and audio experiences, and increasingly diverse content offerings available at the touch of a button.
“Our all-new range of TVs exceeds these expectations. We’re delivering bigger screens, equipped with the latest technology, without compromising on quality or price. From our enhanced Mini-LED offering to our redefined OLED experience, and the wow factor of our TriChroma Laser TV – the range emphasises our reputation as a manufacturer who delivers consumers the latest and greatest technology across a range of products to suit every home.”
New, improved and packed with features
From the brand’s entry-level ULED offering at a competitive AUD$1,499 for 55-inches, all the way up to the brand’s flagship U9HAU Mini-LED, and the 120-inch TriChroma Laser TV, each model is equipped with the latest essential features as standard across the range.
With 4K resolution delivered across the entire ULED and Mini-LED range, consumers will be delighted by Hisense’s Quantum Dot Colour technology, producing astounding brightness – a standout spectacle in any home. Alongside this, Full Array Local Dimming Pro and Smooth Motion technologies mean the highest quality viewing, no matter the content or environment.
With HDMI 2.1 features and inputs as standard across the ULED range, gaming-enthusiasts and the like can enjoy a premium playing experience with outstanding picture quality at 120Hz. Complemented by the best in gaming technology such as Dolby Vision Atmos and Game Mode (with VRR and ALLM), the range includes Quick Frame Transport (QFT), which automatically puts each frame at a higher rate to decrease lag and enhance the overall playing experience.
The range also combines innovative functions to support optimum picture and sound quality. Managed through Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos sound, which ensures true-to-life, rich imagery and crystal-clear audio, these models serve as the perfect conduit for watching the latest blockbuster release, bingeing your favourite TV show or cheering on your team.
A refreshed OLED offering for Aussie consumers
Re-entering Hisense’s Australian line-up for 2022 due to strong consumer demand, the brand’s OLED offering will boast two models – the X8HAU and X9HAU – available in 55 and 65-inches. The impressive X9HAU boasts an enveloping, 360-degree audio experience thanks to the combination of its sonic screen, dedicated subwoofer and two up-firing speakers.
“As part of our commitment to deliver Australian customers more choice when it comes to home entertainment, we’re excited to be bringing back the OLED offering, underpinned by our competitive pricing and commitment to innovation,” continued Peters.
A showstopping cinematic experience
With demand for bigger screens high on the agenda, the 120-inch TriChroma Laser TV (120L9G) delivers with ease, producing high-resolution, true-to-life picture from anywhere in the home.
Featuring the brand’s proprietary TriChroma X-Fusion Laser Light technology, the 120L9G makes it easy to transform your home into an immersive cinema experience, projecting razor sharp imagery on the brand’s paired 120-inch ambient light rejection screen (ALR), which – unique in the market – is offered complimentary with purchase.
Life-like picture quality is supported by microsecond-level processor response times, and the addition of Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology allows for fast-moving imagery to be projected with ease, ideal for watching fast moving sports games or action-packed cinematic exposes in real time.
“For customers looking to create a showstopping moment in the home, whether it’s in a spacious living room or dedicated cinema space, our expanded Laser TV offering is a true testament to our continued research and development in this space”, concluded Peters.
Content rich entertainment at the click of a button
Hisense’s proprietary operating system (OS), VIDAA U6 will be available across most of Hisense’s 2022 Australian TV range. Showcasing a rich offering of content streaming apps for every audience – from sport and reality TV to family friendly movies and iconic bingeworthy series – VIDAA U6 cleverly curates your personalised homepage of content from a blend of applications, making TV time accessible and seamless.
Alongside the brand-new addition of Apple TV+ and Disney+ to the platform, Australians can choose from a wide range of content across Amazon Prime Video, Kayo Sports, Twitch, Paramount Plus, Britbox and Google Play Movies.
Set up and navigation is made easy through the enhanced VIDAA Smartphone companion app which gives users the ability to control their TV from their smartphone instead of a traditional remote. In busy households where remotes may occasionally be misplaced, this comes in handy, ensuring no one misses out on watching their favourite programs or movies.
Hisense’s new range will go on sale via all major electronics retailers across Australia from the end of June. Further detail on pricing and availability is outlined below.
