Summary: A good introduction to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe before the game comes out in November. Hopefully the first of many stories.

Now git mule!

Set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, Nadia is the only survivor of a private armed trauma team people with the most money get to evacuate them out of tricky situations. There does not seem to be a public health system in this world and money talks.

The setup is a bit confusing as it is hard to work out who is talking to whom in the opening scene until you read it a couple of times. It does set up to an interesting situation and establishes the tone of the story well for what is going forward.

Not sure if this has anything to do with the upcoming game or this is just a side story, but it is good to see fiction based on the universe already appearing as they worked on the game for long enough.

In terms of style it does tend to draw on things like 2000AD and the Neuromancer legacies.

While I am not sure I will get the game myself, I would still be interested in seeing how this story turns out and if there are more adaptations based on the game universe in the pipeline.

I would recommend this if you are a fan of the cyberpunk setting and want to see something different.
