Hit wizard-inspired comedy PUFFS final weeks in Sydney!
MUST CLOSE 30 JUNE
Calling all magic-loving wizards and witches in Sydney – PUFFS or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic – must close on Sunday 30 June.
Featuring an all Australian cast, the Off-Broadway comedy hit parodies the world of a Certain Boy Wizard through the eyes of The Puffs, a lovable group of magical misfits.
The play, which has enjoyed rave reviews, takes place at Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter in a custom-built ‘magical’ pop-up theatre where audience members immerse themselves in the enchanting world of PUFFS.
With its irreverent humour, PUFFS evening sessions are best suited to older wizard loving theatre goers (from mid-teens to adults). Children aged eight and upwards can share the magic of the show at special family-friendly weekend matinees, with family tickets priced at just $99.
On Saturday (2.00pm) and Sunday (1.00pm) afternoons, PUFFS has been lightly transfigured so that parents can relax knowing their young wizards and witches won’t learn any new curses.
Adorned with whimsical props and hand-crafted decorations, the circus-style theatre creates the spellbinding vibe of a certain school of magic and magic. Theatre-goers can also purchase refreshments at the bespoke ‘Wizard Bar’ before the show commences and during intermission.
There are plenty of pre-show opportunities for photos in the PUFFS themed pop up theatre foyer to capture magical memories. Don’t forget to tag the PUFFS official hashtags #puffstheplayau and #puffsau on Instagram.
