The Sims 4 Lovestruck Expansion Pack, Electronic Arts Australia are joining forces with gaming and entertainment venue Fortress

Sul Sul! To celebrate the release of The Sims 4 Lovestruck Expansion Pack, Electronic Arts Australia and pop culture powerhouse Fortress today announced they are joining forces to bring the world of The Sims to life – with Sims fan extravaganzas to be held at Fortress Sydney on 3 August and Fortress Melbourne on 10 August.

Taking place at Australia’s home of gaming and entertainment, the Fortress Sydney and Melbourne events will see fans of the iconic Sims franchise come together to celebrate the release of the latest expansion pack, Lovestruck, which brings the world of modern dating to The Sims.

The Sims 4 Lovestruck expansion pack will give players the chance to create their Sim’s dating profile on the Cupid’s Corner app – and match with other Sims. Players will determine how to navigate the dating scene, find out what other Sim’s Turn-ons and Turn-offs are and then cater to them, learn how to become a Romance Consultant and so much more. The Sims Lovestruck Expansion Pack will be available across all gaming platforms from 25 July.

While themed around the dating expansion pack, The Sims Lovestruck Parties at Fortress have been put together for all fans of the games to enjoy (single, taken, or otherwise!) and aim to bring together one of video gaming’s most devoted communities for a night of Sims inspired fun… Because as every Sims fan knows, Simspiration is everywhere.

The Sims Lovestruck Parties will feature:

  • Plumbob headbands for all party goers (don’t worry, these plumbobs won’t turn red!)
  • DJs spinning Simlish covers from The Sims nostalgic soundtrack
  • Iconic imagery from the games brought to life for fan photo opportunities
  • Free play stations for fans to dive into the new Lovestruck expansion pack
  • An iconic Sims inspired dance floor for fans to bust out their best moves
  • Themed cocktails and menu items, including fan favourite dishes from The Sims

Tickets are available for just $12.00 and include your very own Sims inspired plumbob to complete your Simlish outfit on the night (and to take home), along with a complimentary standard drink upon entry. For tickets and further event information, please visit: www.fortress.games/lovestruck.

Since its original release on PC in 2000, The Sims has gone on to become one of the best loved and bestselling video game series of all time. Across four standalone games and countless expansion packs, The Sims has sold nearly 200 million copies globally across all gaming platforms – with The Sims 4 becoming the most widely played game in the history of the franchise last year, with more than 70 million players worldwide.

The Sims Lovestruck Parties take place on 3 August at Fortress Sydney and 10 August at Fortress Melbourne from 6pm – late. For tickets, visit: www.fortress.games/lovestruck
