Learn more about GUNDAM BREAKER 4 story and characters!

GUNDAM BREAKER 4, the hack-and-slash looter game that will release 29th August 2024 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam, gets new details about its story and characters.

In GUNDAM BREAKER 4, players are in the latest evolution of the Gunpla Battle Simulator, in which they can meet online, chat, and socialise, allowing the program to reach unprecedented success. The story takes place as this new version of the simulator, called GUNPLA

Battle Blaze: Beyond Borders (or GB4) is entering a beta test phase, in which the protagonist will participate. The protagonist meets Tao, a very knowledgeable but inexperienced user with a love for SD Gundam, and Lin, a beginner with a competitive spirit. The three of them form a clan and start going through battles, meeting new allies and rivals. As they progress through the ranks, they end up entering the “Battle Tournament”, the game’s biggest event.

In addition to Tao and Lin, protagonists like Reco, the AI character that delivers news and hosts events, Mister Gunpla, the commentary and MC for GB4 events or Misa, the veteran who led the Ayato Shopping District Gunpla team in GUNDAM BREAKER 3 will have a part in the game’s story. GUNDAM BREAKER 4 will let players customise their Gunpla with more than 250 base kits, parts that can be acquired by defeating enemies and battles that will feature Gunpla of different sizes.

Fight through missions to hack, slash and shoot through hordes of enemy mechs, breaking off their parts to collect and upgrade builds. GUNDAM BREAKER 4 introduces an all-new feature to the series, where players will be able to use two different weapons for unique combos in their quest for the best parts to build the perfect Gunpla. In between battles, players access a robust mecha garage where they can customise their creations with new parts as well as paint, decals, and weathering to make the ultimate mecha expression for Gundam fans.

Another brand-new feature unique to GUNDAM BREAKER 4 is diorama mode. Create elaborate scenarios with a variety of backgrounds, environmental elements, and special effects, then place any Gunpla creations and capture the perfect pose with highly articulable models.

GUNDAM BREAKER 4 will launch on 29th August 2024 and is now available for pre-orders on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.
