Futuretronics Bundle Pack

Futuretronics has once again come to the rescue of PS2 gamers with the introduction of the PlayStation 2 DVD remote, multitap & vertical stand in an all in one bundle pack. This bundle is the ideal accessory to owners of PS2's or for those who are thinking of purchasing this amazing console. The bundle comes with the following accessories;

1) 4-Player Multitap (with memory slots)
2) DVD Remote Control with battery
3) PS2 Vertical Stand with additional storage space for memory cards and games
4) One i-link Cable included &
5) Two 2-metre extension cables.

The first thing you will notice with the bundle is the strange vertical stand design that not only allows you to safely stand your PS2 console up but also allows it to be used as a storage device for your memory cards and PS2 games. The design is very solid and sturdy but the plastic used to create the stand feels a little on the rough side.

The multitap feature of the stand is almost identical the official Sony accessory and the multitap that was recently released by Futuretronics a few months ago but at a fraction of the price. For those uninitiated with a multitap, it allows you to connect up to four controllers to your PS2 console for some non-stop gaming fun. We once again tested the multitap with V8 Supercars and we are pleased to announce that it performed almost identical to the official Sony product.

Apart from being able to connect four controllers to one PlayStation 2 console, the multitap also supports four memory card slots that will highly benefit all gamers.

The bundle also comes with a PlayStation 2 DVD remote control and unlike the Sony remote control, there are only 18 buttons. These buttons are the bare essentials that are needed for a good DVD remote control. As we all know, in order to benefit from the Sony PlayStation DVD remote control, you must install a 2meg file onto your memory card. Fortunately, this is not needed on the Futuretronics remote control as only the bare essentials are included on the remote but you will probably only use about 5 buttons anyway. The remote control came with batteries and performed as good as any other remote control that is on the market, whether designed for a DVD player, Video recorder or television,  the remote control performed perfectly. The only drawback with the remote controller is the size as it feels more like a toy than an accessory but for the price, it's worth the dollars.

The bundle also comes with a PS2 i-link Cable and two extension cables that are probably the best third-party cables around. Unlike the variety of cables that are available on the market at the moment, these cables are just plain black cables that are professionally made and the extension cable is the perfect addition to gamers who wish to relax on their couch without the need of moving chairs or furniture around in order to get closer to the PlayStation 2 console.

The Futuretronics PlayStation 2 DVD remote, multitap and Vertical stand is the perfect addition to your PlayStation 2, provided that you don't already own these accessories. Although the stand feels a little on the cheap side, the rest of the components are professionally made and it also comes with 3 bonus cables to increase your gaming experience. If these items were purchased separately, you would be looking at over $150 dollars but for $99 dollars, you can't go wrong! Check it out!
